Body Language – TED Talk
People often ask me where does my knowledge and inspirations from, and the answer that I always give is, “All around me”. However, one of my favorite sources is through watching TED Talks. So this week, a particular TED Talk presentation was referred to me as a must watch and the subject matter was body language. Body language affects how others see us, but it may also change how we see ourselves. Social psychologist Amy Cuddy shows how “power posing”— standing in a posture of confidence, even when we don’t feel confident — can affect testosterone and cortisol levels in the brain, and might even have an impact on our chances for success.
